Evening Affaire
Just wrapped up the 14th Annual Evening Affaire last night at the mall of Victor Valley. I met lots of great folks, had some great interesting conversations, but most of all was very happy to share my work. I met an artist last night that really just made my night. He loved my work and I noticed he had some military art. Turns out he served our country proudly in Vietnam, AND did two tours! I think shaking his hand last night and thanking him was probably one of the highlights of my evening. My heart really goes out to our men and women who serve, but mostly to our men who came back from Vietnam to a not so appreciative America. A different time.
Angry Birds debuted last night and looked super cool and of course, funny! I love that piece, and of course, I really could not have set up everything had it not been for my good friends who framed all of my work so awesome, Kellie Brayfield, Chase, and Robert Hampton over at All Star Custom Framing. They are my biggest fans! The real hero of this all of course is my amazing wife Amy who puts up with my brush throwing and tantrums in my studio. She is the biggest support I have! What can I say, I am blessed to have such amazing people in my life. NOW, onto the childrens book...to be continued
